We provide advanced driving courses to those who wish to hone their driving skills beyond the learner test standard.
Our trainers are A Graded DVSA (Cardington) Gold Standard DVSA Approved Driving Instructors and can assess your standard of driving and provided tailored training to improve your road craft.
The standard we apply is equivalent to preparing for the DVSA Part 2 Potential Driving Instructor test of driving ability, and written assessment reports are provided to aid your continued driving development. The DVSA Part 2 Potential Driving Instructor test of driving ability assessment consists of an eyesight test and a test of your ability to drive to a high standard, where you must demonstrate whether or not you have a thorough understanding of good, safe driving techniques.
The course aims to instil positive driving behaviours. Learn not just the ‘how’ of driving but also the ‘why’ – fostering a mindset that prioritises safety, responsibility and the wellbeing of all road users. We cover Roadcraft principles, ensuring that you grasp the foundations of safe and effective driving. As car insurers generally view drivers who have passed an advanced course as less likely to have accidents, completing one can also help to cut your car insurance costs. The advanced driving course also focuses on enhancing your vehicle handling skills. You will learn how to control your vehicle more effectively, improving your ability to navigate challenging situations on the road.You will develop a heightened sense of awareness, enabling you to anticipate and respond to changes in your surroundings, ultimately reducing the risk of accidents.
